17. Decide To Decide
Sometimes our decision-making is impacted by our fear of making the wrong choice, which leads to indecision and drains our energy. Taking ownership of choices and acting on them is essential for progress, as clarity comes from experience, not from excessive overthinking. By shifting our mindset, recognizing that any choice can be adjusted, and embracing action over hesitation, we can take control of our decisions and create the life we want.

16. Silence Is Not The Solution
Silence can be a strategic tool in conversations, but staying silent out of fear can also be harmful. Speaking up against workplace bias requires courage, but it can challenge unfair systems and may contribute to creating a more equitable workplace, particularly when framed with tact and logic. While fear of retaliation is real, both those experiencing bias and those witnessing it must consider their role in fostering accountability and creating change.

15. What's Done Is Done
The key to moving forward is recognizing that the past is unchangeable, but the future is shaped by our intentional choices. We tend to hold ourselves back through our limiting beliefs, subconscious fears, and self-sabotaging behaviors that prevent us from fully embracing success. By aligning our decision-making with core values, overcoming unnecessary worry and criticism, and proactively shaping our environment, we can create a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

14. No One Has It All Figured Out
Imposter syndrome can cause us to doubt our level of competence despite clear evidence of our skills and achievements, and not surprisingly, this can disproportionately affect high-achieving women in male-dominated fields. It manifests as feelings of fraudulence, overworking to compensate, and reluctance to acknowledge success, often leading to unnecessary credential-seeking and self-sabotage.
